9ct yellow gold twists like a rope around a large oval Turquoise gemstone in this brooch inspired by Whitby’s fishing heritage. There is even a street in Whitby called ‘The Ropery’ which is lined with tall buildings originally used to make long pieces of rope for the ship-building industry. Set with a horizontal bar pin.

We source our Turquoise gemstones from the famous Kingman mine in North Western Arizona which is recognised as one of the oldest and largest Turquoise mines in America. The mine is also widely known for producing highly collectable gemstone grade Turquoise. Kingman Turquoise is distinguished by its unique lustre, striking characteristics and sky-blue colour. Turquoise is also famed for being the December birthstone.
